Strunjan Landscape Park
The 80-metre high flysch cliff, situated on the northern side of the landscape park, will take your breath away. The sea lagoon Stjuža, and the still operating salt pans are enchanting as well. One cannot but be taken away by the diversity of the fauna and flora, and you will not be able to forget the majestic and peaceful panoramic spots in the park. On a clear day the view can extend over the Trieste Gulf and reach as far as Mount Triglav.
The picturesque salt pan landscape and a traditional atmosphere are the perfect ingredients for a serene relaxation. The high flysch cliffs, the hill Ronek, many hidden and less accessible bays, as well as autochthonous settlements, are a natural invitation for numerous activities.
