Markova Veprinac

Veprinac is a settlement which has four churches. The largest church, located at the beautiful view point of the entire Kvarner, is dedicated to St. Mark.  The traditional local folk's feast Markova is held in his honour.

The event features various performances by the local choirs and vocal groups (klape) held in front of the town's doors, under the lodge. There is also plenty of entertainment in the evening with dancing and performances by popular bands as well as excellent food. The local and autochthonic products fair accompanies the feast.
